Being the word nerd that I am, I was thinking very hard about these two words recently .As a copywriter, my goal is to help brand connect with their customers or clients authentically and genuinely, because that's how you connect with people. That's how you get people to listen. And that's how you have an impact on people. But I, like many, used to use these word interchangeably. However, the more I thought about it, the more I thought that these two words are not exact synonyms. So, I did a little research and found that these two words mean slightly but significantly different things.

Why Writers Should Write Badly

If you're a perfectionist like me, sometimes the desire to put out something "perfect" holds you back, and ultimately you miss out on a lot.

The funny thing is, I didn't realize I was a perfectionist until my therapist told me that one day. That's because, I tend to be someone who will dive head first into something I'm excited about or when I want to break through my fears, and then learn as I go. However, once I realized my own perfectionist tendencies, I started to recognize when perfectionism does creep into my life, including in my writing, and how it affects me.

So, whether you're a perfectionist or not, or you're not actually sure, let's talk about why writing badly is actually good for us. And by writing badly, I also mean...being "bad" at anything else in life.

This value empowers each person to act positively.
