THIS IS NOT ANOTHER MARKETING CHALLENGE
-
THIS IS NOT ANOTHER MARKETING CHALLENGE -
Here you come again…with another marketing checklist and content plan.
Maybe your funnel worked beautifully for years. But when the results started slowing down, you reached for the usual checklist:
✔️ Rewrite the sales page. ✔️ Add more emails. Post more often. ✔️ Try another tactic.
But your audience has changed. Their feeds are fuller, they’re more discerning (as they should be!), and AI has flooded the market with more (generically) polished content than anyone could possibly consume.
That doesn’t mean your offer has become less valuable. It means more tactics won’t fix a story your audience can’t follow.
You don’t need more pieces of marketing. You need the right story to connect them, giving your audience a clear reason to notice, believe, choose, and follow you all the way to a CLEAN yes.
Storytelling is NOT the Sprinkles on your marketing. It’s the structure.
Your posts may capture attention. Your emails may explain the offer. Your sales page may list every feature and benefit.
But if those pieces aren’t telling the right story, your audience has to connect the dots themselves:
Why does this problem matter now?
What do you understand that others don’t?
How does your offer move them from where they are to where they want to be?
Why should they trust your way of getting them there?
Why should they choose this now instead of someday?
And when those answers aren’t clear, people may like your content without understanding why they should buy.
Strategic storytelling connects those dots. It gives every part of your campaign a job, and guides your audience from recognition to trust to the CLEAN yes.
LET’S ADDRESS THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM: AI can add some dollar store glitter to your copy, but it cannot create The Dolly Effect for you.
Don’t confuse synthetic sparkle with a Backwoods Barbie.
A Backwoods Barbie may be dressed in rhinestones, but she’s built from grit, heart, truth, and a bone-deep understanding of who she is.
AI can mimic the language, follow the formula, and bedazzle the sentence. But it hasn’t lived the story, and it can’t decide what you’re willing to stand for.
When you blend in with everyone else, your audience can’t remember you, trust you, or choose you.
That’s why your story matters, and it’s not just fluff.
But building a coherent story rooted in lived experience, clear convictions, and a point of view no one else can replicate…
That’s what makes people say “yes” to you. That’s what makes them say “yes,” this is worth the investment. This is the support I need.
3 DAYS
2 HOURS A DAY
1 LAUNCH CAMPAIGN WITH THE DOLLY EFFECT
Big hair. Bold curves. And a whole lotta rhinestones.
That was Dolly’s way of getting our attention. But all that sparkle alone doesn’t create decades of staying power. What made her universally loved and respected was the substance beneath the sparkle.
Dolly built a world where everything—from her unmistakable voice to the causes she championed—showed us who she was and what she stood for. Her words, choices, and actions became story beats in one larger, deeply human narrative.
That’s what your launch needs. Your launch isn’t just a campaign for an offer. It’s one chapter in the larger story you’re writing.
The Dolly Effect is when every part of your launch tells the same bigger story—what you believe, why your work matters, and why your audience should choose you.
And then they buy into your whole world, starting with your offer.
OVER THREE DAYS, WE’LL BUILD YOUR LAUNCH’S BIGGER STORY AND START WRITING YOUR SALES PAGE.
-
Before we figure out what content to write for each asset, we’ll zoom out to understand the bigger story you’re telling.
We’ll identify:
What is the larger world your work is helping build?
What needs to change in that world?
Where does this particular offer fit into the bigger story?
What role does your audience play in bringing that future to life?
Why is this the right chapter to tell now?
What story gaps are keeping people from connecting your vision, offer, and value?
We’ll also map out the key story beats across your sales page and email sequence.
-
We’ll connect the pieces into one clear campaign narrative, so your audience can follow the story from where they are now to the future you’re inviting them into.
We’ll shape:
The belief at the heart of your launch
Your campaign’s central throughline
The emotional journey that leads to a clean yes
The key story beats that build trust, desire, and momentum
And we’ll write the most important, story-driven parts of your sales page. Because once you have your sales page, the rest becomes easier.
-
A clear story can help people understand you. But clarity alone doesn’t make a story unmistakably yours.
On Day 3, we’re doing the deeper work that brings your story’s true sparkle to the surface.
We’ll explore:
What convictions shape the way you do this work?
What lived experiences have influenced your perspective and approach?
What do you see, understand, or name differently from others in your industry?
What truth are you willing to say that others avoid, soften, or oversimplify?
What parts of your voice have you been editing to appear more “professional” or palatable?
What choices and actions prove that your values are more than words?
What must be present for this campaign to feel honest, embodied, and unmistakably yours?
You won’t leave with another pile of disconnected content prompts.
You’ll leave with the throughline and story architecture that turn your sales page, emails, and social content into one clear campaign, designed to lead your audience toward a CLEAN yes.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “What would Dolly do?” The answer is:
POUR YOURSELF A CUP OF AMBITION AND JOIN THE STORY SPRINT!
We’re not here to slap rhinestones on another pile of content and call it a campaign. We’re stepping back to build the bigger story so every post, email, and sales page works together to earn your audience’s attention, trust, and CLEAN yes.
WHO THE HECK AM I TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR DOLLY EFFECT?
(From left to right: Jinu, Porter Wagoner, and Dolly Parton)
I may not be Dolly, but I know a thing or two about finding the story beneath the sparkle.
I started my career in Nashville with a big vision: helping country music artists build brands with the global appeal and unmistakable staying power Dolly created.
When people didn’t quite understand what I was building, I scooted over to film and television, where so much of our culture is shaped by the stories we see on screen.
I spent more than a decade helping make movies, discovering indie gems at film festivals, and learning what makes a story capture attention, move people, and travel around the world.
But I also saw who was (and wasn’t) being trusted to hold the pen: men writing women’s stories, diversity treated like decoration, and decisions about whose stories mattered being made by people who had never lived them.
That’s when my mission became clear: to help women and BIPOC leaders own their voices, shape their narratives, and tell stories that move their work and our culture forward.
Because when more of us hold the pen, we don’t just change who gets seen. We change which ideas get funded, whose leadership is trusted, and what kind of future becomes possible.
Today, I bring everything I’ve learned as a screenwriter, producer, and messaging strategist to help you build a story with substance, sparkle, and staying power.
Because storytelling isn’t rainbow sprinkles you add to your marketing. Storytelling is the strategy that makes your marketing work.
Who belongs in this writing room?
JOIN Story Sprint if:
→ You have an offer to launch—but no clear idea what you’ll say about it for 8 weeks.
→ You’ve been using the same funnel for a few years, and it used to work great but it’s time for a refresh.
→ You’re doing all the marketing things, but they don’t feel connected or compelling.
→ You know your offer is valuable, yet explaining why people need it still feels weirdly difficult.
→ Your last launch included a lot of posting and emailing, and people liking your content, but not enough buying.
→ You keep rewriting your messaging because something still feels flat, generic, or incomplete.
→ You’re tired of templates and AI-generated copy that could belong to anyone.
→ You don’t want more content prompts. You want to know which stories will move your audience toward a clean yes.
→ You want to launch with a clear message that doesn’t feel like “just” another campaign you have to do.
Who should sit this one out?
Story Sprint may not be for you if:
→ You’re still figuring out what your offer is, who it serves, or whether you actually want to sell it.
→ You’re expecting to leave with every piece of launch copy polished, designed, and ready to publish.
→ You want quick marketing tactics without examining the beliefs, values, and larger story underneath them.
→ You’re looking for a passive webinar you can play in the background while answering emails.
→ You aren’t currently open to feedback, revision, or seeing where your story has gaps.
→ You’re in a season where exploring your identity, values, or personal connection to your work would feel more destabilizing than supportive.
This isn’t a 3-day performance where you need to arrive perfectly polished.
But it is a working room. Come ready to think, write, question, revise, and uncover the substance beneath your sparkle.
“Justine's expertise was exactly what I needed to move through some mental blocks (that I had been experiencing for almost a year!) that were preventing me from moving forward with my copy and website. Justine was a thoughtful partner and guide...her perspective has been a critical asset in helping me get clearer and more comfortable with developing my copy. There is still so much more for me to learn...and I actually feel EXCITED about it now, thanks to Justine. I highly, highly recommend her!”

GOT QUESTIONS? PULL UP A SEAT, DARLIN’!
-
Story Sprint is a live, 3-day virtual intensive where we’ll build the story architecture behind your next launch.
Across two focused hours each day, you’ll diagnose the gaps in your current story, clarify the larger narrative your offer belongs to, map the story beats that lead your audience toward a clean yes, and begin uncovering the MAGIC that makes you and your offer really shine.
This is not another content challenge asking you to publish more. We’re building the story that gives every post, email, and sales page a clear purpose.
-
Without the story architecture, your campaign becomes a collection of disconnected content assets.
There’s nothing bridging your audience from where they are to where they want to be.
And then they don’t know how to trust or believe you can help them build that bridge.
-
You should have a specific offer, event, program, or initiative you plan to promote next.
You don’t need to have the entire launch mapped out—that’s part of what we’re here to clarify—but you should know what you’re selling and why it matters.
If you’re still deciding what your offer is, this probably isn’t the right starting point.
-
You’ll leave with the story architecture behind your campaign—not a fully written library of launch assets.
You’ll know:
The larger story your launch belongs to
The role your offer plays within that story
The gaps your messaging needs to close
The emotional journey your audience needs to experience
The essential story beats your campaign needs to include
The convictions and distinctive elements that make the story yours
How those pieces can guide your sales page, emails, and content
You won’t leave with every word written. You’ll leave knowing what story you’re telling, why it matters, and what each part of your campaign needs to accomplish.
This will make creating those assets a whole lot easier and cohesive. -
No, that’s what I’m here for.
You don’t need perfect prose or a dramatic origin story. You need a clear offer, an upcoming campaign, and a willingness to look honestly introspectively and at what your audience needs to understand, feel, and believe.
We’ll find the story first. The polished words can come later.
-
Yes. The three days follow an intentional arc, and each session builds on the work you completed the day before.
Missing one day would mean missing a crucial part of your campaign’s story architecture, so plan to attend all three sessions live and participate fully.
-
Yes. This is a collaborative working room, not a watch-and-wave webinar.
You’ll have opportunities to receive live guidance, pressure-test your ideas, close story gaps, and sharpen your campaign alongside a small group of fellow participants.
The exact amount of individual feedback will depend on the final group size, but the experience is designed for active participation, not anonymous attendance.
-
We may go deep, but you will always have agency over what you share.
You’ll never be pressured to disclose a personal experience simply because it could make “good content.” We’ll explore the values, convictions, lived experiences, and perspectives shaping your work while honoring your boundaries and consent.
The goal is not forced vulnerability. It’s truthful, intentional storytelling that feels safe enough to share and strong enough to mean something.
-
Bring:
The offer, program, event, or initiative you’re launching
Any existing launch materials—even if they’re messy or incomplete
Your sales page, emails, social posts, notes, or previous campaign copy
Information about your audience
An open mind and willingness to revise
Something to write with
Your brain food and beverage of choice…and, naturally, a cup of ambition
-
There may be short reflection or refinement exercises between sessions, but this is not designed to consume your entire week.
The live sessions are working sessions, so you’ll complete meaningful thinking and writing in the room. Any between-session work will help you carry the story forward—not bury you under busywork.
There will however, be some short pre-sprint homework to make sure we make the most of our three days.
-
Story Sprint is designed to be experienced live. The conversations, feedback, and discoveries happening in the room are a big part of the MAGIC—and they can’t be recreated by watching a replay while folding laundry.
However, life happens. Recordings of the teaching portions will be available to registered participants for seven days. Participant sharing, live coaching, and group feedback will not be recorded, protecting the privacy and intimacy of our writer’s room.
Please register only if you plan to attend all three sessions live. The recordings are a safety net, not a substitute for showing up and doing the work.
-
Yes. Your seat inside Story Sprint is $150, including all three live sessions and your sprint materials.
This isn’t a free challenge to play in the background while you answer emails. Your registration is your commitment to show up, roll up your sleeves, and do the work—with plenty of guidance and a little sparkle along the way.
-
Because Story Sprint is a live, limited-capacity experience, registration is non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your seat to someone else with advance approval or apply your registration toward a future Story Sprint, subject to availability.
