The #1 reason my last-minute double launch sold out

Okay, real talk. While everything turned out beautifully (both my small group programs sold out—whoop whoop!), I do not recommend launching two programs at the same time 😅. (Crafting decks and managing all the moving pieces has definitely cost me some precious sleep hours!)

That said, I learned something incredibly valuable in the process, and I want to share it with you in case it helps with your own future launches. Here’s the #1 reason I think I was able to pull this off.
But first, a little confession…

When my business coach nudged me toward launching a bootcamp, I was was a little thrown off. Launching any kind of group program was nowhere on my radar!

But as I thought it through, I was worried I didn’t have enough time to launch anything with a tiny human on the way this November (!!!). After calculating my timeline, I realized I had only one month to promote it! Normally, I recommend giving yourself at least two months just to nurture your audience before launching.

Then, because I clearly thrive on chaos, I decided to run two programs back-to-back, which crunched my timeline even more. 🤪

Besides the timeline, I was worried about confusing folks with two simultaneous launches. Sure, the reason I decided to launch both of these programs at the same time was because they could go hand-in-hand. I even created a package for those who wanted to do both. But still, it felt like a lot to throw out there all at once–especially these being my first time ever launching such programs.

Add to that the fact that my natural Manifesting Generator instincts were screaming at me that this was too rushed. But, as someone who loves a good challenge, I saw a path forward and dove in anyway. (Honestly, I figured, worst case—it’d be a valuable learning experience!)

Not pracicing what I preach…

I felt a little guilty though, because I wasn’t following my own advice. Here I was, designing a bootcamp all about saving  yourself from flying by the seat of your pants during a launch, and yet I was scrambling to get mine together as quickly as possible. I was genuinely nervous about how prepared I’d be.

But then something clicked…

As people started signing up for the programs, I realized that while I hadn’t consciously nurtured my audience for these specific launches, I had actually been doing it all along.

For the past five months, I’ve been running monthly workshops—teaching about building a brand voice, creating impactful storytelling, and crafting sales funnels. And guess what? Those are exactly what my Get Your Messaging Straight Challenge and Launch Lab Boot Camp are all about.

And it makes sense, since the program topic ideas came from thinking about what people were responding to throughout the past 5 months. I’ve even been able to reuse some slides and tools from previous workshops.

So, without even realizing it, I’d already been nurturing my audience by consistently showing up and providing value. And that, my friends, is the secret sauce.

Nurturing your audience isn’t just about warming them up right before a launch. It’s about building relationships and providing value consistently, over time.

That’s what makes the difference. When you’ve already laid the groundwork and kept your audience engaged, even a “scrappy” launch can find success.
So next time you’re gearing up for a launch, remember: it’s not about rushing to get everything perfect at the last minute. It’s about staying connected with your audience well before that.

Have you been nurturing your relationship with your audience and consistently providing value?
