When you're starting or building your business, often the focus is on crafting and telling your brand story. But there are 3 critical stories your business needs to tell, and one cannot exist without the other. So, let's look at these stories and why they matter.

You're Brand's Story

Obviously, your brand's story is an essential part of your business. It's how people get to know you, it's the message you put out to the world, it's your mission and journey, it's your customers' experiences.

Your brand story is more than just who you are and what you do. It's how people emotionally connect with you and the impact you have on them. Often, this means connecting through your values. That's why it's so important.

Your Customer's Story

Your customer's story is part of your brand's story. But knowing your customer's story, why they might turn to you for a solution, what their journey is that led them to you is key to being able to genuinely connect with them.

And as I already mentioned, your customer's experience is also vital to your brand's story.

Happy customers = happy business 😄

In other words...

Good customer experience = good for business growth 📈

Your Product's or Service's Story

Of course, what you sell also has a story that's vital to you business and your brand's story, too. Why does this product or service exist? How will it fill a need or improve your customer's or client's lives? Knowing your product's story allows you to effectively communicate it to those who would benefit from it, so that they'll immediately connect their need to your product, and purchase from you.

I agree it’s important to tell all three stories.
