What is Red Balloon Station?

Red Balloon Station is a creative hub where stories come to life in the form of books, songs, films, and social content, founded by Justine Wentzell, a dynamic writer and Creative Producer with expertise in script development, production, music supervision, deal making, acquisitions, and co-productions.  She's a natural left and right brain with a diverse background, which allows her to work with and understand her fellow creatives, as well as think and work strategically with the ever-changing landscape .  

Justine began her career in the music industry at companies like Ten Ten Music Group, The Academy of Country Music, and Creative Artists Agency, and currently serves on the Recording Academy's Advocacy Committee.  She was a key player on Marvista Entertainment's Acquisitions & Co-Productions team, which she ultimately led, having acquired films like Eric Bilitch's "The Submarine Kid" starring Emilie de Ravin and Finn Wittrock, Autumn McAlpin's "Waffle Street" starring James Lafferty, Danny Glover and Julie Gonzalo, and Lea Thompson's directorial debut, "The Year of Spectacular Men," starring her daughters Madelyn Deutch (who also wrote and scored the film) and Zoey Deutch (who also produced the film).  She also worked on countless co-productions across the globe.  

She created Red Balloon Station to better serve as the "connector" of people and projects, advising both individuals and companies.  She helps writers elevate and bring their stories to life, as well as serves as a Creative Producer on productions.  Writing, proofreading, and editing services are now also available for a wider array of writing related services.

Justine received her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Global & International Studies, and her J.D. from Whittier Law school.  She also speaks, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and is learning French.
